Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the initiation of a caste census to ensure social justice and empowerment for the Other Backward Classes (OBCs). Kharge argued that a caste census is essential for effective policy-making and ensuring equitable representation and opportunities for OBCs in education, employment, and governance.
