Mohammed Al-Bashir has been appointed as Syria's new interim Prime Minister, a role that places him in a unique position given his connections to both the Assad regime and various rebel groups. Previously, Al-Bashir served as the Minister of Water Resources and was involved in negotiations with opposition factions, showcasing his ability to navigate the complex political landscape of Syria. Al-Bashir's background includes a degree in civil engineering from the University of Aleppo, and he has been part of the government since 2012, initially as an advisor to the Prime Minister.
