PTI calls govt's attempts to drag military into politics 'shameful, condemnable'
- Party also rejected attempts to target former military official, General Faiz Hameed, under the name of Imran Khan
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly criticized the government's efforts to involve the military in political matters, labeling these actions as "shameful and condemnable." PTI's Senior Vice President, Fawad Chaudhry, accused the government of attempting to create a rift between PTI and the military establishment. He highlighted that the government's strategy includes using the military to suppress PTI's political activities, particularly in light of the upcoming by-elections. Chaudhry also mentioned that the government's actions are seen as an attempt to divert attention from their own political failures and to undermine PTI's significant public support. He emphasized that PTI remains committed to its political struggle and will not be deterred by such tactics.
