  • Randy Fine, now a state senator, wants to try again to bar state agencies and local governments from putting up flags with a "political viewpoint."

Randy Fine, a Florida state representative, has proposed a bill that would ban the display of flags representing "foreign terrorist organizations" on public property, including schools and government buildings. The bill has sparked controversy, with some seeing it as an attempt to limit expressions of identity and support for certain causes under the guise of combating terrorism.
