  • According to the official order, all officers, officials, and staff assigned from various departments, organisations, boards, and hospitals in a "diverted capacity" must immediately return to their parent departments.

The Delhi BJP government has decided to terminate all co-terminus appointments made in the offices of former Chief Ministers and ministers, as reported by CNBC-TV18. This decision affects approximately 437 employees who were appointed during the tenures of previous administrations, including those under Chief Ministers like Sheila Dikshit and Arvind Kejriwal. These employees, whose positions were linked to the term of the appointing authority, will now be relieved of their duties. The move aims to streamline government operations and reduce the financial burden on the state by eliminating positions that are no longer necessary. This action has sparked discussions on the implications for administrative efficiency and the welfare of the affected employees.
