Kejriwal proposes affordable housing scheme for sanitation workers

Ahead of the assembly elections in Delhi, AAP's National Convenor and candidate for the New Delhi assembly constituency Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday, proposed a scheme to provide affordable homes to sanitation workers on monthly installments.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has proposed an affordable housing scheme specifically for sanitation workers, aiming to provide them with decent living conditions. During a meeting with sanitation workers, Kejriwal highlighted the dire living situations many of these workers face, often residing in slums or makeshift accommodations. He announced plans to construct multi-storey housing complexes where sanitation workers can live with dignity. The initiative includes identifying suitable land for these housing projects, with the government already in the process of selecting locations. Kejriwal emphasized the importance of sanitation workers in maintaining the cleanliness of Delhi and stated that providing them with proper housing is a step towards acknowledging their contributions to society.
