The president-elect has outlined a wide-ranging agenda that blends traditional conservative approaches to taxes, regulation and cultural issues with a more populist bent on trade and a shift in America's international role.

Donald Trump, in his bid for a second term, has outlined several key promises and policy directions for his potential administration. He has pledged to enact stricter immigration policies, including mass deportations and ending birthright citizenship. Trump also aims to undo many of the Biden administration's initiatives, particularly focusing on reversing climate policies like rejoining the Paris Agreement, and instead promoting fossil fuel production. He has promised to address what he describes as "election integrity" by potentially overhauling the voting system. Additionally, Trump has committed to reducing regulations on businesses, cutting taxes further, and implementing "America First" trade policies. He has also hinted at using executive power more aggressively, potentially targeting political opponents and the media, and has suggested he might seek to extend presidential powers. His campaign rhetoric includes themes of revenge and retribution against those he perceives as having wronged him or his supporters.
