Saini Government in Minority? Congress Demands Fresh Polls, CM Hi

Responding to Bhupinder Hooda's claims, CM Saini said that there is no danger to BJP government in the state.

The Haryana Congress has demanded the dissolution of the state assembly, claiming that the Saini government is in a minority following the withdrawal of support by three Independent MLAs, reducing the BJP's tally to 40 in the 90-member assembly. Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda and state unit chief Udai Bhan met with Governor Bandaru Dattatreya to press their demand, asserting that the government no longer has the moral or constitutional right to remain in power. In response, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini dismissed the opposition's claims, asserting that his government is stable and enjoys the support of the people. He challenged the Congress to prove their majority claim on the floor of the House, while also accusing them of attempting to destabilize the state government for political gain.
