"Not Time For Partisan Politics": Congress' Unity Message After J&K Attack

Sending out an important message of unity after the dastardly massacre in Pahalgam, the Congress on Wednesday said this is not a time for partisan politics and signalled it will stand with the government to bring the terrorists to justice.
Following a terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where a tourist couple from Rajasthan was injured, the Congress party issued a statement urging unity and condemning the politicization of the incident. The attack occurred in the Baisaran area of Anantnag district, and the victims, identified as Tabrez and Farha, were hospitalized. Congress leader Pawan Khera emphasized that such attacks are a reminder of the ongoing security challenges in the region and criticized attempts to exploit the situation for political gain. He called for a collective effort to address terrorism and support the affected families, highlighting the need for solidarity across political lines.
