  • Which political party do young voters prefer voting for? Here's what a recent poll discovered.

A recent poll conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights has revealed a significant partisan divide in the United States regarding the perception of political violence, with 20% of Americans believing that political violence is usually or always justified to achieve specific goals, and this number rising to 33% among Republicans. The survey, which was carried out between September 7-11, 2023, also found that 44% of Americans believe that the country is on the brink of a civil war, with this sentiment being more pronounced among Republicans (53%) than Democrats (36%). The poll further highlighted that 70% of Americans feel that the nation's democracy is in danger of collapse, with 78% of Democrats and 65% of Republicans sharing this concern. Additionally, the survey indicated that 66% of Americans believe that political violence is a serious problem, with 72% of Democrats and 62% of Republicans agreeing. The findings underscore the deep political polarization and the growing concerns about the stability of American democracy.
