  • BJP, the Jammu and Kashmir administration on Thursday sealed the ministerial house in which party president Sat Sharma was continuing to stay illegally even after not being an MLA.

The Estates Department in Jammu and Kashmir sealed a government house that was illegally occupied by BJP leader Ravinder Raina. The property, located in the upscale Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu, was originally allotted to former minister Abdul Rahim Rather, who vacated it in 2018. Despite the cancellation of the allotment in 2020, Raina continued to reside there. The sealing action was taken after Raina failed to respond to multiple notices to vacate the premises. This move has sparked political controversy, with opposition parties criticizing the BJP for allegedly misusing government resources.
