  The Indian government announced on Wednesday that the country will have its own space station by 2035, which will be called Bharatiya Antariksh Station. The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology,


The Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS), India's version of the International Space Station (ISS), is set to be launched by 2035, with the first module expected to be in orbit by 2028. This initiative was announced by Union Minister Jitendra Singh, highlighting India's ambition to expand its space exploration capabilities. The project will see collaboration between ISRO, Indian academia, and industry, aiming to foster innovation and technological advancement. The station will serve as a platform for microgravity experiments, technology demonstrations, and could potentially host astronauts, aligning with India's broader space exploration goals including missions to the Moon and Mars.
