Public safety receives $2.9 billion, with funds directed towards law enforcement, fire services, and emergency management. Additionally, $1.2 billion is designated for mental health care, aiming to expand services and support. The budget also includes $1.5 billion for transportation infrastructure and $1 billion for economic development initiatives, reflecting a comprehensive approach to addressing key state needs.
