- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ali Nafti said that an agreement was reached with his Libyan counterpart Al-Taher Al-Baour, during a meeting held on Monday in Tunis,
Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar and his Libyan counterpart, Foreign Minister of National Unity Government, Abdulhadi al-Hweij, have agreed to remove restrictions that have been obstructing the flow of traffic at border crossings between Tunisia and Libya. This decision was made during a meeting in Tunis, where both ministers discussed enhancing cooperation in various fields including security, economy, and culture. They emphasized the importance of facilitating the movement of people and goods to boost economic activities and strengthen bilateral relations. The agreement aims to address long-standing issues at the Ras Jedir and Dhiba-Wazen border crossings, which have seen closures and restrictions due to security concerns and political instability in Libya.
