President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. The parties, in particular, discussed sanctions against Russia, according to the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has expressed Tokyo's readiness to strengthen sanctions against Russia in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
