Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has expressed Tokyo's readiness to strengthen sanctions against Russia in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. During a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Kishida emphasized Japan's commitment to supporting Ukraine and its people.
