The state of Texas, under Governor Greg Abbott, has devised a plan to purchase border wall materials that were auctioned off by the federal government. These materials, originally intended for the construction of a border wall under former President Donald Trump's administration, were left unused and subsequently auctioned. Texas aims to buy these materials at a reduced cost, store them, and potentially use them to continue building the border wall should Trump return to office.
