Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), has expressed his party's readiness to participate in South Africa's government should the current Government of National Unity (GNU) fail. Speaking at the EFF's 10th anniversary celebration in Johannesburg, Malema criticized the GNU, which includes the ANC, DA, and IFP, for lacking a clear ideological direction and for being a mere power-sharing arrangement. He accused the GNU of being formed out of desperation rather than a shared vision for the country's future. Malema emphasized that the EFF would not join the GNU but would be prepared to step in if it collapses, positioning the EFF as a viable alternative with a distinct ideological stance.
