Democratic Representative Daniel Goldman criticized Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy for their involvement with the "Doge Agency," a promotional campaign for Dogecoin, labeling it as unconstitutional and illegal. Goldman argued that their actions could be seen as an attempt to manipulate the cryptocurrency market, potentially violating securities laws. He highlighted the issue during a discussion on MSNBC, pointing out that such market manipulation, especially by influential figures like Musk, could mislead investors and destabilize financial markets. Ramaswamy, a GOP presidential candidate, had previously engaged in a Twitter Spaces conversation with Musk, where they humorously discussed Dogecoin, which Goldman believes crosses ethical and legal boundaries.
