  • The Moroccan Confederation of Very Small, Small, and Medium Enterprises said in a statement that it's not satisfied with how the government is rolling out its new employment plan. The confederation said that the government only consulted big companies while completely ignoring small businesses
  • the very ones that create most jobs in the country.

The Confederation of Swiss Employers has criticized the Swiss government's job creation plan, arguing that it disproportionately benefits large companies over small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The plan, which aims to stimulate employment through subsidies and incentives, is seen by the Confederation as flawed because it does not adequately address the needs of SMEs, which are crucial for the Swiss economy. The Confederation points out that the criteria for receiving government support are more easily met by larger corporations, potentially leaving smaller businesses at a disadvantage. This could lead to an uneven economic recovery, where big companies grow while SMEs struggle, potentially stifling innovation and economic diversity. The Confederation urges the government to revise the plan to ensure a more equitable distribution of support across all business sizes.
