President William Ruto has charged three CSs with running the vacant ministries. Musalia Mudavadi, Aden Duale and Salim Mvurya will serve in acting capacity.
President William Ruto of Kenya has reassigned Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale to temporarily oversee the Ministries of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs and Tourism and Wildlife, respectively, following the resignation of Alfred Mutua and Peninah Malonza. This reshuffle comes as part of Ruto's strategy to maintain governmental operations smoothly during the transition period. Mudavadi, who previously served as Foreign Affairs Minister, will now manage international relations and diaspora affairs, while Duale, with his background in security, will focus on boosting tourism. This interim arrangement will hold until Ruto appoints permanent replacements for the vacant positions.
