  The Constitutional Court of Montenegro has rejected the appeal filed by Kwon Do-hyeong, also known as Do Kwon, co-founder of cryptocurrency firm Terraform Labs and a key figure in the collapse of the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin and its affiliated token,

The High Court in Montenegro has rejected an appeal by Do Kwon, the former CEO of Terraform Labs, against his extradition to either the United States or South Korea. Do Kwon, who is wanted in both countries for his alleged role in a $40 billion cryptocurrency crash, has been detained in Montenegro since March 2023 after being arrested for attempting to travel with falsified documents. The decision on which country he will be extradited to will be made by Montenegro's justice minister. This ruling comes after a series of legal proceedings in Montenegro, where Kwon has been held, and marks a significant step towards his potential extradition to face charges related to the massive financial losses incurred by investors due to the collapse of Terraform Labs' cryptocurrencies.
