According to an AP-NORC poll discussed in a PBS NewsHour article, only about 3 in 10 Americans express high confidence in former President Donald Trump's handling of key issues like Cabinet appointments, federal spending, and military actions. The poll, conducted in early 2021, reflects a significant portion of the public's skepticism towards Trump's decisions in these areas. While Trump retains strong support among Republicans, his overall approval ratings remain low, with many Americans feeling that his actions in office did not align with their expectations or the country's best interests. This lack of confidence spans across various demographics, highlighting a broad dissatisfaction with his leadership on these critical governance aspects.
