Boyd, who was convicted in 2020 for taking $27,000 in bribes, has registered as a lobbyist with the Missouri Ethics Commission, representing clients like the St. Louis Police Officers Association and the St. Louis Firefighters Association. His lobbying activities started just weeks after his release, leveraging his extensive network and experience in local politics. Despite his past conviction, Boyd's new role has sparked discussions on ethics and the revolving door between public office and lobbying, especially given his history of corruption.
