The devices, which were discovered the following day, were described as "viable" and could have caused significant harm if detonated. The FBI has shared images and videos of a person of interest, described as a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a face mask, glasses, and gloves, carrying a backpack. Despite extensive efforts, including over 500 tips and interviews, the identity of the bomber remains unknown. The FBI continues to seek public assistance in identifying this individual, offering a reward of up to $500,000 for information leading to the bomber's arrest. The investigation has involved analyzing over 39,000 videos and 500 tips, but the case remains open with no arrests made.
