KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube has urged municipalities and traditional leaders to collaborate more effectively to enhance service delivery and development in rural areas. Speaking at the opening of the KwaZulu-Natal Traditional Leaders Indaba in Durban, she emphasized the importance of working together to address issues like water supply, sanitation, and infrastructure development. The Premier highlighted the need for traditional leaders to be involved in municipal planning and decision-making processes to ensure that development initiatives are culturally sensitive and meet the needs of rural communities. She also called for the resolution of disputes between municipalities and traditional councils to foster a conducive environment for growth and development.
