Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with his cabinet colleagues, took a holy dip at the Sangam in Prayagraj on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, a significant day during the Magh Mela. This ritualistic bath was not only a part of the religious festivities but also served as a moment to pray for the welfare of all. The event saw the participation of several ministers including Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Baby Rani Maurya, and others, who joined in the prayers and the ceremonial bath at the confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. The Chief Minister also offered prayers at the Akshayavat, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the occasion. This act of taking a dip in the holy waters is believed to cleanse one of sins and bring prosperity and peace.
