Elon Musk, in a recent interview, admitted that his earlier pledge to use Dogecoin to "save" the U.S. economy, which he suggested could be worth $2 trillion, is unlikely to materialize. Musk made this statement during a light-hearted moment on the "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, where he humorously proposed that if the U.S. government accepted Dogecoin, it could potentially address the national debt. However, in a more serious tone, Musk clarified that while he supports Dogecoin and believes in its potential, the idea of it saving the economy was more of a jest. He emphasized the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies and the speculative nature of his comments, highlighting the complexities of economic policy and the improbability of such a drastic financial shift.
