  • The Rhode Island Life Science Hub has named Dr. Mark Turco to be its first president and CEO.

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center has appointed Kenneth Turner as its first president and CEO. Turner, who previously served as the executive vice president of industry affairs at the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, will lead the organization in its mission to advance the life sciences sector in Massachusetts. His appointment comes at a time when the state is looking to bolster its position as a global leader in life sciences, especially following significant investments in research, development, and infrastructure. Turner's role will involve overseeing the strategic direction of the center, fostering innovation, and supporting the growth of life sciences companies across the state.
