The Ukrainian government, through its human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubinets, has successfully facilitated the return of five children and their families from Russia and Russian-occupied territories. This operation marks the 13th such effort, bringing the total number of children returned to 235. The children, aged between 2 and 18, were reunited with their families in Ukraine. The process involved complex negotiations and was part of a broader initiative to repatriate Ukrainian children taken during the conflict with Russia. The return was celebrated as a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to restore family unity amidst the war.
