Ellenbrook line opens 16 years after it was first promised

The Ellenbrook Line, a long-awaited rail project in Western Australia, has finally opened 16 years after it was first promised by the state government. The $1.2 billion project, which includes a 12-kilometer extension of the Midland line, now connects Ellenbrook to central Perth, significantly reducing travel times for residents.
