Chantell Hotaling has been appointed as the new Cayuga County Republican elections commissioner, replacing longtime commissioner Patricia A. Bullock. Hotaling, who has been involved in local politics for years, including serving as the chair of the county's Republican Committee, expressed her commitment to ensuring fair elections and maintaining the integrity of the electoral process. She aims to continue the legacy of her predecessor by fostering a transparent and efficient election system. Hotaling's appointment was confirmed by the Cayuga County Legislature, and she is set to begin her role immediately, focusing on upcoming elections and voter education.
