According to the survey, public satisfaction with the government has plummeted to levels not seen since the final days of the Morrison government. Key findings include a significant drop in satisfaction with the government's handling of the economy, with only 30% of respondents expressing satisfaction, down from 40% in the previous year. Additionally, there's a notable dissatisfaction with the government's performance in managing living costs, with satisfaction rates falling to 25%. The report also highlighted a general disillusionment with politics, with only 37% of Australians feeling that democracy is functioning well, a decrease from previous years. This dissatisfaction spans across various demographics, indicating a broad-based decline in confidence in the current administration's ability to address critical issues effectively.
