  • THE Philippines donated thousands of gloves, bonnets and blankets to Palestinian refugees in Gaza to ease their troubles this winter season, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said. DFA-Office of the Middle East and African Affairs Assistant Director Jomar Sadie lauded the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) for its valuable contributions to the Philippine humanitarian efforts.

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) has dispatched a new aid convoy to the Palestinian refugees in Gaza, as reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra). This initiative, part of the Jordanian-led "Operation Gallant Knight 3," aims to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the ongoing conflict. The aid, which includes food parcels, was sent through the King Hussein Bridge and is part of a broader effort to provide relief to the people of Gaza amidst the dire humanitarian situation. The JHCO has been actively involved in sending aid, with this being the 86th convoy since the conflict escalated, highlighting Jordan's commitment to supporting Palestinian refugees.
