Oregon AG says lawsuit coming to challenge Trump's order pausing federal funding

Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum announced plans to file a lawsuit challenging former President Donald Trump's executive order that would pause federal funding to states and cities with policies limiting cooperation with immigration enforcement. Rosenblum argues that the order is unconstitutional and infringes on states' rights, particularly targeting sanctuary cities and states like Oregon, which has laws protecting immigrants from certain federal immigration enforcement actions. The lawsuit aims to block the implementation of this order, asserting that it threatens critical federal funding for public services and violates the principles of federalism.
