  • AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday, 1 December, targeted the BJP-led central government for alleged inaction on law and order issues in New Delhi, claiming that instead of taking action against criminals, an attack was orchestrated on him during his 30 November padyatra in Malviya Nagar.

In a recent statement, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed his disappointment over the law and order situation in the national capital, highlighting that instead of addressing the issues he raised, he faced personal attacks. Kejriwal had previously written to Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena about the deteriorating security conditions, particularly after a series of violent incidents including the murder of a 16-year-old girl in Shahbad Dairy. Despite his efforts to engage in constructive dialogue, Kejriwal noted that the response was not cooperative but rather confrontational, with the Lieutenant Governor and the BJP attacking him personally. This situation underscores the ongoing political friction between the AAP-led Delhi government and the central government-appointed officials, reflecting broader tensions over governance and administrative control in Delhi.
