OMAHA, NE--(Marketwire - November 18, 2008) - iSECUREtrac Corp. (OTCBB: [ ISEC ]), an industry leader in electronic monitoring solutions, announced today that the Seminole County (FL) Sheriff's Office has signed a contract for iSECUREtrac's system and services which will be used in a broad array of applications including work-release, pre-trial, juvenile and domestic violence cases.

Contracted systems include iSECUREtrac's [ System 5000 ]® which incorporates the industry's most advanced GPS components. This sophisticated GPS system stores compliance parameters in the unit and provides violation alerts in real-time through a cellular network. The System 5000 and all iSECUREtrac electronic monitoring systems are supported by a single, web-based software reporting program.

Along with iSECUREtrac's System 5000, the County is utilizing iSECUREtrac's [ Monitoring Center Intervention ] to investigate and resolve common non-compliance issues without the involvement of a county officer or deputy, unless the situation needs to be escalated. In addition, the Sheriff will employ iSECUREtrac to send [ voice alerts ] for certain types of violations. When a monitored individual becomes non-compliant, this unique service has the capability to automatically send voice alerts to an unlimited number of recipients including previous domestic violence victims and 911 dispatch centers.

Beyond monitoring defendants and released inmates, iSECUREtrac is assisting the Sheriff's Office in solving crimes utilizing Crime Scene Inquiry (CSI), a proprietary software application designed by iSECUREtrac. In addition to fingerprints and DNA, iSECUREtrac's CSI can be used as a forensic tool which can place a suspect at the scene of a crime. CSI compiles data from any GPS monitoring device and automatically identifies individuals that were present at specific geographic locations during specified time periods.

"One of the most gratifying aspects of this agreement is the utilization of the suite of services we've developed to lighten the workloads of officers and deputies and solve crimes more quickly by using GPS location data to identify suspects," said Peter Michel, president and CEO of iSECUREtrac. "When coupled with our advanced monitoring systems, the entire package provides a robust electronic monitoring component to a complete community supervision program."
