ACF has rejects claims of bias, asserting its consistent critique of both Tinubu and Buhari administrations for governance shortcomings.

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has refuted allegations of bias in its criticism of President Bola Tinubu, asserting that its stance is consistent with its previous critiques of former President Muhammadu Buhari. In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Prof. Tukur Muhammad-Baba, the ACF emphasized that its criticisms are rooted in the principles of fairness, equity, and justice, not in ethnic or regional favoritism. The forum highlighted that it had similarly criticized Buhari's administration for issues like nepotism, insecurity, and economic mismanagement. The ACF also expressed concerns over the current administration's policies, particularly the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of foreign exchange rates, which they argue have led to increased poverty and economic hardship without adequate government intervention to mitigate these effects. The forum called for a more inclusive approach in governance to address the widespread suffering among Nigerians.
