Fewer than 1,000 votes separated the candidates for the second spot in the Democratic primary as of 11 p.m. Tuesday.

In the New Jersey Assembly election for District 7, incumbent Democrats Herb Conaway and Carol Murphy are facing a primary challenge from Joe Miller. The district, which includes parts of Burlington and Camden counties, has seen a competitive race with early voting results showing Conaway and Murphy leading with 43.5% and 42.5% of the vote respectively, while Miller trails with 14%.
