  The Fulbright program board members stated that the Trump administration had illegally canceled scholarships for nearly 200 professors and researchers.

The entire board of the Telluride Association, a prestigious educational nonprofit, resigned on April 12, 2023, after accusing the organization's leadership of fostering a toxic work environment and mishandling sexual assault allegations. The resigning board members claimed that the association's executive director, Abbey Krainik, and other senior leaders created a culture of fear and intimidation, and failed to adequately address multiple reports of sexual misconduct. The Telluride Association, founded in 1911, is known for its summer programs that bring together high school and college students for intensive study and discussion. In response to the resignations, the association stated that it takes all allegations seriously and is committed to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
