Business organisations and charities in Guernsey have joined forces to try and shape future government policy and "educate" potential States members. The group, which has eight member organisations, has launched a survey to gather information on the most "pressing policy priorities for government action".

The article from MSN discusses a new initiative by the U.S. government aimed at engaging and educating future government employees. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has launched a survey targeting students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals to gather insights on how to better attract and prepare them for federal service. This effort is part of a broader strategy to modernize the federal workforce, ensuring it remains competitive and capable of addressing future challenges. The survey seeks to understand the preferences, motivations, and barriers these individuals face when considering a career in public service. By collecting this data, the government hopes to tailor recruitment strategies, improve training programs, and enhance the overall appeal of government jobs to younger generations, thereby fostering a more diverse and skilled workforce.
