BJP accused AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi of deceiving women and elderly with non-existent schemes. BJP claimed that people were misled by promises of financial aid and free medical treatment.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his minister Atishi of deceiving women and the elderly through a political scheme. According to the BJP, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) promised a monthly stipend of Rs 1,000 to women under the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana' but has not fulfilled this promise, labeling it as a "political fraud." BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla criticized the AAP for not implementing the scheme despite having the funds, alleging that the promise was merely an election gimmick. He further claimed that the AAP government has been misleading the public with unfulfilled promises, particularly targeting vulnerable groups like women and the elderly.
