  THE Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) has recognized 343 individuals from various government agencies and local government units (LGUs) as Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) champions. ARTA Director General Ernesto Perez said on Sunday the agency capped its 2024 RIA training activities by naming its 3rd Annual Enrich: Empowering Next-Generation RIA Champions during ceremonies held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC)

The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in the Philippines has recognized several government agencies as "Regulatory Champions" for their efforts in streamlining business processes and reducing bureaucratic red tape. These agencies include the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Energy (DOE), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). ARTA Director General Ernesto Perez emphasized the importance of these recognitions in promoting a more business-friendly environment, which is crucial for economic growth. The awards were given during the 2024 Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Summit, highlighting the government's commitment to improving efficiency and transparency in public service delivery.
