Kris Gopalakrishnan, a co-founder of Infosys, has been booked under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act following a complaint by a Dalit family in Bengaluru. The family alleges that Gopalakrishnan and his wife, Sudha, along with their associates, have been harassing them over a land dispute. The conflict centers around a piece of land in the upscale Koramangala area, which the family claims they have been cultivating for over 30 years. The situation escalated when the Gopalakrishnans allegedly attempted to take possession of the land, leading to physical altercations and intimidation. The police have registered a case, and the matter is under investigation.
